The Band presents 14 concerts and takes part in several contests each year, essential in maintaining very high musical standards. Many of the concerts are now long established events - for example our summer season of open air concerts in Aldbourne - Wiltshire. Band appoints new Musical Director. 2014 Christmas CD now available.

Paul and Frankie clock-up 31 years at the Oak. Welcome to the Royal Oak. Here you will find the ideal combination of a superb range of perfectly kept ales and an extremely friendly environment. The Oak is primarily a real ale pub and offers up to a dozen mainly local real ales and up to 33 ciders. Always on offer are beers from West Berks brewery and Wadworth. During their time at the Oak which are proud.
Celebrating 64 years of Choral Music in Wantage. This is to remind you that the rehearsal on Tuesday 23rd June will be at Sparsholt Church, not at the School. The Saturday afternoon rehearsal at Sparsholt will start at 2. The service will be re-broadcast on Sunday 17th May at 3. 00pm; both broadcasts will be available for 30 days via the BBC Radio 3 website.
